Advantages of Capless Wigs

Capless wigs allow your head to stay cooler than solid capped wigs. This is due to the fact that it is made with less hair and the specific capless construction allows for some air flow to the head and scalp.There are also adjustable straps or hooks at the nape of the neck to secure the wig in place.

So, I've started experiencing thinning around the front of my head/bang area and on the sides/temple areas. So, I wanted to find a wig similar to my natural style to start wearing more frequently. I choose #2 for the color as choosing a color can be hard. My natural color is between a 2 and a 4, but I had been coloring my hair a dark to medium brown color. I feel this wig is a similar style to how I normally wear my hair. I do like the color and it does seem natural and doesn't have the shininess that some wigs have, but the one thing I'm having a hard time with is "will people think right off the bat is it a wig?" I guess because I know it is. I have been wearing it around my house to get a feel for it and I would say it's a low density wig. I also have a low hair line and should any hair come out from the wig the length of the wig would cover them.
I'm overall happy with the style I just need to get comfortable with wearing it outside in public.

- Length & Measurement -

The hair length should be measured from the hair roots to the hair tips For curly and wavy hair,it should be stretched to straight when you measure the length.

How to Put Your Wig On

1) Find the front and the back of wig (the label goes in back).

2) Brush your own hair back; securing longer pieces with a hair pin and place a wig cap over your head (keeps the wig securely in place.)

3) Grasp the wig at the top and slip it over your head from your natural hairline to the natural hairline in the back.

4) The wig should feel secure but no too tight. You can adjust your wig for a secure, comfortable fit.

5) Style as you would your own hair. The small tabs in the front of the ears can be adjusted to hold the wig close to the face. Be gentle with the hair.

Cleaning the Synthetic Wigs

Synthetic wig is less expensive than human hair and is durable. Traditional curling irons, blow dryers and hot rollers CANNOT be used on synthetic hair fiber.

  • Detangle
    Gently remove tangles using a wide tooth comb, working gradually from the ends to the base.

  • Wash
    Submerges your wig in cool water. Mix in a small amount of Shampoo for synthetic hair. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

  • Rinse
    Rinse with cool water to remove shampoo. Gently press with a towel to remove excess water. Do not rub or wring.

  • Dry & condition
    Dry & condition Place on a folding wig stand, spray with a Leave-in Conditioner, and allow to air dry. DO NOT WRING OR SQUEEZE.

Styling the Hair

Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style your synthetic wig. Define layers with Synthetic-Safe styling products. For curly wigs, use a pick or comb to loosen fibers, but do not pull on the hair.

Storing the Hair

When not in use, always put your wig on a mannequin or wig stand to maintain its shape. Frequency of cleaning will depend on your environment, lifestyle and amount of perspiration. Suggested for cleaning is after 10 to 14 days of wear.
It is best to store the human hair in its original container. Or you can store the hair in a plastic bag.
